I attended the University of Kent gaining a 2:1 in English and American Literature. I then undertook my P.G.C.E at Christ Church College Canterbury. I then taught in comprehensives in Medway and grammar schools in Maidstone and Canterbury.During this time I also gained an MA in education from Christchurch Canterbury.
As well as classroom teaching , I have worked for over twenty years as a private tutor which I enjoy. I have also worked as an examiner for both G.C.S.E and A' level which gives me valuable insight into do well with these exams.
